SCOPE OF JOB DUTIES:
In order to be considered minimally qualified for this role, you must demonstrate knowledge, skill and ability to perform the following:
Provide day to day overall support of the Customer Care Team.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers including following up with customers preemptively and on a reactionary basis.
- Act as the first point of escalation for customer service issues.
- Demonstrate an understanding of facility management including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, project work, and building systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track, prioritize and manage work orders from the Customer Care Team.
- Assist and support with call overflow from the Customer Care Team.
- Assist in establishing metrics and KPI's regarding work order aging, corrective maintenance/ preventative maintenance and tenant support (billable work).
- Prepare standard reports established by the Customer Services Coordinator.
- Provide coaching/guidance, support, and feedback to Customer Service Specialist lll's
- Review the processed work orders to ensure that intake has captured all necessary information required to move forward with work and/or projects
- Provide technical assistance/training to co-workers, internal/external customers with regard to services, policies, procedures, methodology/standards.
- Perform administrative support tasks such as data entry, email and document records management, mail sorting, and filing.
- Develop and/or manage and support work plans and projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Work location: King County Administration Building, 500 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104. This role has an option to telework 1 day/week.
- Normal work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Are customer focused and can respond professionally to inquiries and manage and prioritize customer needs
- Have experience in report writing and graphic display.
- Have an understanding of contract management and budget management.
- Have experience in coordination, facilitation, mediation, and negotiation.
- Have experience using computers, email, and office software in daily work (The County uses Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word).
- Have experience using a CMMS, data collection and statistical reporting.
- Are capable of addressing politically-sensitive issues.
- Have experience mentoring or teaching others.
- Additional licenses, certifications and other requirements determined to be necessary to meet the business needs of the employing unit may be required.
- Offer of employment will be contingent upon a satisfactory background check and supervisor level reference checks.
Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection (access may be supplemented in some situations) where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours. Please note that when an employee conducts work that is likely to bring them in contact with another individual, safety precautions are required, including the wearing of masks in some situations.
